On-site interview protocol

  • Confirm founder identity and business name before beginning.
  • Explain that responses establish the before state for the six-month Growth Pathways pilot.
  • Work through the questionnaire conversationally. Staff may enter responses as the founder speaks.
  • Use Record voice note to capture interview audio embedded in the form. Preview playback before saving.
  • Allow 20–30 minutes per founder including setup and confirmation.
  • Mark roster status as completed when the questionnaire is saved.
  • Upload photos or voice notes as supporting materials during the full assessment submission.

This is not a test of BEACON. It establishes the before state so the six-month pilot can demonstrate how institutional capability produces founder movement and economic outcomes. Founder sections are collected on-site through scheduled interviews first. New Hill institutional data completes the full company view before submission.
